Pop-Up Lunch
Pop-Up Lunch is a movement/blog started by Alexandra Pulver as an attempt to transform non-traditional public spaces (mainly sidewalks) into places to eat lunch. This is mainly done through portable or permanent “mobile eating tools.” Pretty great ideas abound on the blog, including the Pop-Up Lunchbox, a food-carrying receptacle that can transform into a plate at lunchtime. Alexandra has a lot of other awesome ideas (magnetic coffee cup holder anyone?) that are totally worth checking out.
